I've never been a huge fan of "arcade" racing games, so Rush never struck me. Crazy Taxi was (is) a good game, but it never had much staying power for me. If I put another five or ten games in the list, it would probably show up.
I think what I like most about this list is hearing the slight differences of opinion that everyone else has. I'm definitely going to do more of these!

There seems to be a sudden increase in the popularity of the Dreamcast lately (look at what IGN has been doing, for example).
I like the list of games you put together, but where's San Francisco Rush 2049 and Crazy Taxi? Those were some of the best games of the system! At least you gave MSR and Test Drive Le Mans the recognition it deserves. Those were two seriously overlooked games on the system.

You know, even though Skies of Arcadia is an awesome RPG, it just didn't draw me in as much as I expected. I don't know what it was. On the other hand, I really liked Grandia II's battles. Even though I put it ahead, they're pretty much equal in my book. It's tough to sort things in a list like this, and actually I considered not numbering it at all -- but that's no fun.

I would put Shenmue 2 in there too if it wasn't so freakin hard to find. I consider itan XBox game rather than a Dreamcast game.

Overall a nice little list. Personally mine would have been a bit different, probably would have had Shenmue 2 in there too, but thats natural. Good piece!

Thanks! Obviously it's a favorite of mine too. I still play it regularly, even if it's just a quick round with Marine Fishing or Worms.

At least they're cheap. Check your local game store, they probably have preowned ones for $20 or so.
Maybe you should set up a "Phungus Katrina Disaster Relief Games Fund".

Katrina ate my Dreamcast. All I found from it was one of the controllers. It was underneath what was left of the neighbors chimney as it fell through the wall into where my bedroom was.

It narrowly missed. I probably would have made it #21, and heck, I still might. It's still a fun game but without online support it loses a little luster.
