Great coverage, lousy CS

I have been a customer of Verizon Wireless for about one year now. I changed to this service because of their shared minutes plan and local coverage area. While I am pleased with these features I have had a few run-ins with badly trained Customer Service representatives. First was trying to check the total minutes used by my phones not including the mobile to mobile calls (not charged from the shared minutes.) About half of the CS reps did not know the ‘shortcut’ method of doing this, and I had to ask for a supervisor to get my minute count. Later, when I tried to activate SMS messaging on my new phones it took about 8 calls, 3 different supervisors and 2 technicians to straighten it out so that both of my phones could send and receive messages.
