Very disappointing

I must say I was very unsatisfied with the customer service. I received a quote for two text books and only received the money for one. It was stated to me that since I did not include the additional things the book came with i.e the CD, then I do not get the buy back price for the book. When I asked them why wasn't there an option listed to receive a quote for a book without the CD, I was told I could have put in an alternate ISBN number that was for not having the CD. As a member of the general public that DOES NOT work for textbooks.com how am I supposed to know that I have that option. YES it states that if a book is set to them without the additional stuff you will not receive FULL credit. That means to me that I will not get all the money only a portion of my quote. If there was additional information on what to do included at the time of this process, then I wouldn't have sent the book at all. I then tried to see if they could work with me by waiving the cost of shipping. They stated that since it was not the companies fault they can't do it. So overall the delivery speed and was fine but when it came down to recognizing a mistake and quality customer satisfaction I am extremely disappointed.
