Pros: It works and it does not smell bad.
Cons: None to speak of.
The Bottom Line: It took me 37 years to find a shampoo that eliminates my dandruff and does not smell like a tar pit. I found it - Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment.

| brewmaster's Full Review: Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment |
I was just in the shower debating about sharing my personal problems with the entire wired world and pondered, "Do I really want everybody and their brother to know that I have dandruff?". As I lathered up my hair with Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment, I realized that everyone around me already knew that I had a dandruff problem; just take a look at my shoulders when I'm wearing a black shirt, it looks like I just came in from a snow storm! As I rinsed my freshly washed hair I realized that I may actually help someone by writing a review on this product!
Background:
I have very thick hair and have always had a problem with dandruff as far back as I can remember. When I was seven or eight years old, my mother washed my hair with some concoction she got from the doctor. It looked and smelled like tar and it burned my eyes. I think I suffered more trauma from the treatment than from the problem!
Over the years I tried just about every new dandruff product that came out, none of them worked very well. I am very sensitive to scented soaps and shampoos and most of the products that I tried in the past had scents that were very annoying to me. Every time I went in for a hair cut, the stylist would try to sell me the latest and greatest dandruff shampoo. I eventually got sick of trying them and tossing them in the trash because they either stunk or did not work. So I just stuck with the plain old Head and Shoulders.
The Product:
I was introduced to Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment a few months ago. My wife bought it for me and at first, I did not realize it was called Intensive Treatment, I just noticed Head and Shoulders on the bottle and did not think twice about it being a "new" shampoo to try. The product was not the "standard blue" color so I assumed they just changed the color of the shampoo. I did notice the scent was a little different but it did not bother my sensitive nose.
A few weeks ago, I finally read the bottle while showering and noticed it was called Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment. It was then that a light bulb came on in my head and I noticed that my dandruff was gone! No more itching snow storms!
Conclusion:
I did not include the technical details about the ingredients in Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment because I am not a chemical guru, you can read them on the bottle, and the previous Epinion reviewers did a good job describing the ingredients. I just wanted to give you my non-technical opinion of the product...Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment eliminated my dandruff and has a tolerable smell!
