Low appraisals have little or nothing to do with the individual lender. Keep in mind that a lender ONLY MAKES ANY MONEY WHEN A LOAN CLOSES, so it doesn't stand to reason that a lender would have any financial interest in your appraisal coming in low. Respectfully, I have had successful closings with Amerisave on multiple occasions. Keep in mind that in this market, appraisals are in fact a roll of the die. Try to remain logical and objective when evaluating any businesss.
