Ok, this is without a doubt, the worst on line retail shop ever. I was hunting down a software game for my client who could not find it locally. I found Deep Discount had the item in stock. I did some research on them, and found mixed reviews but I took the chance because I couldn't find any one else with this product in stock.
Placed the order June 22nd 09. Four days pass, no updates. I email them on the 26th to ask what was going on with the order? A few hours later I get a confirmation (funny just hours after). The email was a confirmation on shipping today, the 26th of June, with a reminder that the "free" shipping they offered took 5-10 days. OK, no problem.. oh did I mention this 'free' method of shipping has no tracking number so good luck with that. 11 days later, no package. I email again, I get some automated nonsesne, then a second email saying - sometimes the post office can take up to 15 days. OK, 17 days later, still no parcel, send a second email complaint, and I get the same nonsense email back that it can take even up to 15 days.
After a few more attempts to use their "contact customer service" button with no help from them what so ever I deicided to call today, JULY 17TH, almost one month!!! The "Gal" looks my order up and says, oh, you didn't get it? I'll send another one out tomorrow. I was like - "are you kidding me???!!!!" - she then said, do you want a refund, to which I said "Yes, TODAY".
By all means, do yourself a favor: pay the extra few dollars for shipping an stay ayway from these clowns. The worst ever- how do these companies stay in business is beyond me.
