Pros: They quickly responded to our interest in refinancing our home loan.
Cons: They didn't have a good plan in place for sending documents.
The Bottom Line: I would reccommend Quicken because they responded quickly to our interest in refinancing our home loan and made the application process fairly easy.

Overall we had a good experience. I chose quicken loans because they were very quick at replying to e-mail and answered questions immediately. I am glad we used quicken because they thoroughly explained the loan process and quickly began the loan application. The other loan companies I contacted including my personal bank did not respond to our interest in refinancing our loan after multiple inquiries. I also liked that it was easy to close on the loan because a notary came to our house.
The two difficulties I found were that because I didn't have a service to fax long distance there was difficulty in getting required documents to quicken. They didn't seem to have a good plan in place for sending documents and I wasn't reimbursed for at least $40 of expenses of sending UPS which I was told I would be. Also when time neared for loan to close and I sent questions regarding being reimbursed no one responded to my e-mails until I got this survey. There was also some confusion on loan application fee which was $400, but showed up as more on our loan documents. However, I think it was adjusted somewhere. Lastly, we were told that quicken keeps most of their loans, but ours was sold immediately.
