NO RESPONSE FROM IOWA INK REGARDING INCORRECT ORDER.
I had ordered from IowaInk.com a number of times with no problem before I placed this order three weeks ago. The order arrived promptly, but it contained only 4 ink cartridges rather than the 5 I had ordered. 2 of the 5 were the same color, and the other 3 were different colors. The items were listed on 4 lines, with only the quantity being different on one line -- easy to look at and see only 4 things, so I can see that it would be easy to make a mistake in filling the order.
Iowa Ink does not have a phone number for customer service -- you can only contact them through their website email link or by fax. I emailed customer service through their website link, gave the order number and details and explained that the order arrived quickly but short one cartridge. That same afternoon, I received an automatic email response from IowaInk.com saying that they had received my email and would get back to me soon. This was on a Friday.
I had not heard anything back from them by the next Wednesday, so I sent another email with all the same details + the ticket number. Several days later, I emailed again. And yet again a few days after that. All of these emails were through the IowaInk.com website email link. Never heard a thing from them.
Last week, exactly 2 weeks after I opened a trouble ticket with them, I printed out one of my emails with all the order information and faxed it to the fax number. I got a confirmation from my fax machine that the fax went through. By that time, I really had no hopes of hearing back, but decided I needed to make best efforts to reach them in every way possible. As I expected, no response.
I am very surprised at the total lack of response and poor customer service from Iowa Ink. Before this incident, I was a happy Iowa Ink customer -- I purchased from them for both my home printer and my mom's printer, and had recommended them to friends looking for a good deal on ink cartridges from a reliable vendor. This order was for work, which makes it even worse that they didn't come through for me. I feel now that my trust was misplaced, and I will not order from them again.
