I live in an area where there are two brick and mortar pet stores and the prices are out of this world along with a limited selection of items.
When I was looking for a natural medication for my 10 year old Golden Retriever I couldn’t find it at the local stores so I went online. The first store I came to was National Pet Pharmacy and decided I would check out what they had.
The site is very easy to use. You are able to click on the type of pet you have right on the homepage or you can type in what you are looking for right into the search box and click go. It will bring up what you are looking for by all pet types. I was looking for hip and joint care because my golden is getting arthritis in her joints and moving was becoming very hard for her.
On the left side of your screen, the items are broken down by brand, price, category and on sale.
I decided that I wanted to do a little research before I clicked on something and added it to my shopping cart. After doing a little research, I decided to purchase a liver flavored pill in hopes that my girl would take it without too much problem. I added it to my shopping cart and then decided to look around more to see what they were offering.
The National Pet Pharmacy does offer prescription services and there is a form that you have to fill out. They contact your vet to get the authorization for the prescription and once they have that it is filled and shipped to you.
After snooping around on the site for a few minutes, I decided it was time to checkout. I clicked the checkout button and a screen came up asking for the usual information such as your name and address, then it went on to ask about payment and shipping. The shipping was free and there were no taxes on the item I purchased so the amount of the medication was the amount I paid. I also found out that the item I wanted was cheaper than purchasing locally.
National Pet Pharmacy does have a price match guarantee so if you see the exact item someplace else and a cheaper price, just email them the link and you will get it for that price.
After finishing the checkout process, they give you an order number to keep for your files in case something happens. The only thing that did happen was I received the item I ordered about 10 days later. Quick and easy and no hassle.
And with each order I have placed with National Pet Pharmacy, we have received a full sized treat surprise at no additional cost. My Girls have really enjoyed all of these.
National Pet Pharmacy is a quick and easy website to maneuver through and the prices are less than I can find locally.
