We bought this toaster oven to replace our long string of Black & Decker $39 workhorses. At $159 (the price at the time), we had high hopes for this convection toaster oven and were pleased until about a year after purchase, the buttons started becoming unresponsive (had to press harder to get what you want).

It stopped working altogether 1 month ago (didn't heat anything), so we checked in our owner's manual and found the closest authorized repair shop and shipped it off. A week later, we called and the repair shop said that it was a manufacturer's defect that Krups refused to pay for, and it would cost us almost as much as a new toaster oven to repair it and ship it back to us.
We called Krups directly and they refused to help us, saying that we had to deal with the authorized repair vendor. After that, we're not feeling the love from Krups and will look for another manufacturer, but wanted to be sure to share our experience.
