| naoko's Full Review: Dell Inspiron 3800 C450ST |
Well, I bought this computer not even two years ago, and though I was quite excited about it to begin with, the moment my warranty expired things started to fall apart. Actually, that's not true. Within 6 months or so, my left click button fell off. You would think that just the button would have to be replaced, but no. Somebody had to come over and replace the entire face of the laptop. After my warranty expired, in fact two days after (So a year and two days after I bought my computer) the same thing happened. I didn't feel like paying for replacing it, so I just bought an external mouse. The trackpad is a little strange, and I never got completely used to it. I couldn't play games with it, or anything. Then, the keyboard went funny on me. Instead of typing "Hello" it would type out (through no fault of my own) "Hellol" or "Helelo" or something of that type. The fan became incredibly loud to the point that it sounded like it had some kind of bronchial disease. I began getting kicked off of the internet all the time (maybe five times in a day), and that was rather sad. I recently purchased a Dell Dimension 4300, and am very happy with it so far. I never get kicked off the internet, the typos are always MY fault and none of these strange "hellol" things, and I am a happy camper. Oh, my laptop price is so high because I wanted very specific features.
