X10 X CAM, sounds appealing doesn't it. Like the old saying goes, don't judge a book by it's cover, that's definitely the case with this product. I first saw the product as a banner on web page, it looked pretty cool so I decided to check it out, for the price of $170 I was going to get 3 XCAMS, a motion detector, one receiver, one battery pack, and a remote control. I have a two bedroom apartment, so if you can imagine, it's not that big. From the camera to the receiver, which is placed on top of the TV, I was supposed to be able to place them at least 100 feet apart, well I went 15 feet away to the other side of the wall, and reception was completely lost, I guess I should have known not to expect much for the price i was paying, usually equipment like this that works properly can easily run up to and over $1000.

Customer Service: Not a big plus for the company, I really didn't want to return my XCAM, so I decided I would try to call to see why I was getting such a bad picture. So, I waited, and waited, and waited, Finally after 45 min listening to a wonderful music selection, A "technician" came on the phone, with no knowledge about the product!

Before spending the money, just remember, this isnt the best equipment, but if your not looking for high quality pictures, then this just may be what your looking for!
