I used to order from 1800contacts every year for 5 straight years, and unfortunately, their prices are just not competitive anymore. I heard about VisionDirect from a MyPoints mailing and decided to check them out before ordering my annual reorder from 1800contacts.
I could believe the prices I saw, and the automatic discounts they applied to my shopping cart! Based on the VisionDirect prices, I save $60+ annually.

Its really amazing how great VisionDirect is, and I have never had issues with order delivery, customer service, or even the website (1800contacts is a little clunky). VisionDirect has completely won me over, as long as they keep up their competitive prices, and great customer service.
One thing I noticed in a few reviews are shipping related issues. I've been ordering from visionDirect for about 3 years now, and have always received my contacts at least 1-3 days ahead of the estimated delivery date.
In addition to their customer service, it was easy to have my insurance company contact VisionDirect to get a refunded amount from my insurance. I think they are really really great, and still can't get over the fact that I did not find them earlier.
