Ebates.com has been around for years.
Years ago purchases for high priced items had to be purchased and you were given the money back thru ebates.
The items were over priced and not of quality, which made many shy away from Ebates.
Ebates now offers members of the program, rebates on their Online shopping purchases.
Although a few websites only offer a set amount (ex. $1.50 rebate) 99.7% of the website stores offer their rebates in percentages.
The program is easy to use.
It is absolutely free to become a member.
If you are an online shopper, it won't hurt to look at the stores and websites post on their site and the percentage of rebate available for each site.
For those who are concerned about shopping the Ebates program, rebate checks are issued & the site is secure.
Not all online shopping websites are listed at ebates, frequently they change, usually just adding more website shopping stores.
Listed Are Major Retailers such as:
JC PENNEY
FAMOUS FOOTWEAR
FOOTLOCKER
BEST BUY
STAPLES
OFFICE DEPOT
Ebates not only offers rebates but also offers coupons with codes for online merchants (such as free shipping etc..)
To use the program the member must login into ebates and find the online website they would like to shop at, if its listed it will also inform you of how much of a rebate you will receive from your merchandise total, shipping cost not included in the percentage.
Members must use the same email address at checkout when shopping that they use for they're account with ebates to make sure you will be accurately credited for your purchases.
Merchandise total is only rebated, not sales tax, shipping or handling.
Checks are issued every three months, and a member must have a least $5.00 in their account in order to receive a check.
If the account is under $5.00, the balance is carried over until the next pay period which is in another 3 months.
Members earn $5.00 for registering and if they refer their friends/family they also earn $5.00 for each person that registers and makes a purchase.
This program works, I have not once had to contact them for credit for any purchases that I made and wasn't credited for.
They are very much on top of things and they're crediting system is great.
