This card just isn't worth the money!
Cons:
-Causes hardware conflicts with VIA chipsets; you need the v4.32 or newer version of the 4-in-1 drivers; else it crashes your computer every 10 minutes, you get crackling sound, and data corruption while transferring files.
-Dolby Digital 5.1 AC3 ceases to function as soon as you install DirectX 8
-4 Pole minijack and 9 pin minidin connectors are NOT standard, and you can't buy extensions anywhere. Not even from them! (proprietary format)
-No ASIO Drivers
I spent about 1000$ canadian for with along with a set of cambridge soundworks DTT3500 (BTW, those have 10% THD! I've never seen anything worse ever!) 6 months ago. Now, I'd have to update to an Audigy? I am not willing to spend that kind of money for a such poor quality product.
A bit of advice:
Stick to companies like hoontech or audiotrak (semi-pro cards), and if you don't want to pay this much, then consider hercules or voyetra (better value and products).
