Pros:hot water all the time
no tank so you have extra storage space
hangs on the wall
Cons: maintennance is high-quality of plastic parts and glues are questionable-expensive parts
The Bottom Line: Do not buy this product - the cost of a plumbers visit, expensive parts and the constant maintennance of unit is not worth the aggravation
this unit is less than 4 years old - every year for 4 years the carbon builds up so it has to be regularly cleaned in order so that it can ignite -On a second visit the plumber decided to give me his steel cleaner and he showed me how to clean the ignitor so that I can do it myself 2-3 times per year so that I dont have to shell out $100-200 everytime he has to come to clean up - now today I and my attached neighbors have a flooded townhouse because the cheap plastic water valve which seems to be only held by epoxy ruptured -DO NOT BUY - when it totally breaks down I am going back to a regular water heater so that the only time I have to waste money on a plumber will be to install and unstall a waterheater every ten years. The support by Bosch is terrible - the plumber always has to wait around a half hour after leaving a message just to order a part - unit is terrible and naturally things that should not break down are never under warranty. Even early on when the warranty was honored IT WOULD STILL BE UP TO YOU TO HIRE YOUR OWN PLUMBER AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE
