Good value for money, need to be diligent when ordering.

I decided to write this because I have NEVER had a bad experience with Vitacost, and I think their pricing and inventory are well worth your time. Some tips to remember are:
1. NEVER click on the free shipping offer at checkout. Get in, place your order and get out. Once you click on the Place Order button and have your order confirmed, just close all the windows.
2. Look at the shipping dates at checkout. I suspect that for some people, the reason they are getting their shipments late is because they don't notice that some items don't ship within 24 hours. Some items are listed as "Ships in 7 -10 days", so that will put your order back by a few days.
3. If you use a coupon and a cashback program, Vitacost immediately voids your cashback. I found that out the hard way after being denied a Fatwallet cashback - all I got in return was a flimsy mousepad and some vitamin samples I didn't even want in the first place.
I'm not saying that Vitacost is foolproof company - I've had some minor grievances with them such as shoddy packaging and items that aren't really quite good in quality. For example, I ordered a three bags of Bob's Red Mill Baking Soda once only to find that two of them had burst open during shipment.
Another thing is the customer service: Don't email, don't use the chat system. Instead, just call in. The email service is TERRIBLE, they never respond and I swear the people manning the chat system are robots. However, the customer service reps on the phone are really nice and helpful and can usually help you out almost immediately.
Shop carefully and read through everything on their site properly before ordering. You'll find that Vitacost has the best pricing on personal care products online with a wide range of good quality products.
