I have always preferred Skechers shoes to other name brands. They are very comfortable and I generally like their style. I used to purchase my shoes in the store, but I have been having a hard time finding Skechers lately. JC Penny sells them, but they have a very limited selection. The nearest Sketchers store is a little less than an hour away. I started purchasing most of my shoes on Skechers.com and I have been very happy with them!

Skechers.com sells a wide array of shoes and casual apparel for children to adults. Athletic shoes are best represented among the selection of footwear, with sneakers to fit every style and activity level. The site offers a line of weighted shoes called "Shape-ups," aimed at helping people tone their muscles as they walk. They also carry casual shoes, sandals, and dress shoes. For those with specific needs/concerns, the site offers vegetarian shoes and wide widths.
This site is very easy to navigate by browsing the various categories and subcategories. Everything is sorted into appropriate sections and can be further narrowed down by details such as price, size, and color. I was able to find shoes I loved in the size I needed very quickly. The site also allows you to search for shoes by keyword or style number, but each time I have shopped on Skechers.com, I didn't have an exact shoe in mind. The one time I did search for a specific style to show my husband, the search results were accurate.
The pages for each product contained all of the information I needed to make a purchase. The item is often pictured from several views. For items available in multiple colors, the site provides a photo of the item in each color. A detailed description of the item is included, along with information about the shoe's width and overall "fit." Size and color options are all displayed, with options that are unavailable grayed-out. If any size it out of stock, a box under the size options allows you to sign up for an email notification when the item is available. The product pages also include customer reviews.
Skechers' prices are usually set at the manufacturer's suggested retail price, which isn't the best deal. I'm usually willing to pay the price for the convenience of having the full selection of the shoes I love. They run sales quite often and there are usually good coupon codes available on the internet for those who search for them. If you join their free VIP club, you receive free regular shipping. There is no sales tax on orders being delivered to any state except California.
I encountered no broken links or errors during my time shopping on Skechers.com. The site is very up-to-date and I had a pleasant shopping experience.
My Order Experiences
I have ordered from Skechers numerous times, two of which were in the last two months.
In July, I received a 25% off coupon for Sketchers.com from my credit card company. It was just in time since my favorite sneakers were in terrible need of replacement. I chose Women's D'Lites Extreme sneakers in blue/white, which were priced at $59.00. The coupon required the purchase of two items, so I also purchased a pair of black Gallop boots for $60.00. The checkout process was very easy to follow. I am a member of the VIP club, so I logged in to take advantage of the free shipping. The coupon code resulted in a discounted total of $89.25. I made the mistake of getting distracted during the checkout process, leaving the order un-submitted for an hour or so. When I did submit it, I didn't realize it automatically logged me out and removed the coupon code. When I received the email confirmation shortly after, I saw that the transaction was processed at the full price of $127.50.
I emailed the company and received an automatic response confirming receipt of my email. Their customer service responded with a full response on the next business day. They were very helpful, despite the problem being my mistake, and cancelled the order within two business days. I placed the order again with no problems. I received an email notifying me the item had shipping five days later. It took a little longer than I expected, but not an unreasonable amount of time. I received my shoes two days later. Both the sneakers and boots were as described and very comfortable. I absolutely love them! It was an excellent deal with the coupon code.
When I received an email informing me of an after-summer sale on the site, I decided to buy a pair of sneakers for my workouts, along with a new workout outfit from the summer sale. I received my order nine days after placing it. My black/light blue Women's D'Lites Zazz sneakers are incredibly light and very comfortable. They have really helped give me a boost for my treadmill workouts! I barely feel them on my feet.
I have also been happy with my workout outfit. I ordered the Charcoal Heart Tee in sweet lilac and the Flower Child Sweat Pant/Hoodie in wild purple. The name would suggest a violet color, but the picture on the website looks much more like a sky blue. I'm aware that colors can vary by computer, but the color looks the same on two different computers with excellent graphics cards. Generally the colors on both systems are accurate, at least when it has come to gaming, photos, and every other purchase I have made. The actual color of the set is a deep purple. I like the color; I just want other shoppers to be aware of possible discrepancies between the pictures and products, though I did not encounter any color issues with any of my other orders/items.
My subtotal for this latest order was $161.00, but my final total was $94.00 with the summer sale discounts, a coupon code, and the free shipping. It was a great deal!
Overall Recommendation
I have been really happy with all of my purchases from Skechers. I wouldn't mind the orders arriving a bit faster, but I can't complain after all of the discounts, sales, and free shipping. I highly recommend this site.
