I have been an att wireless customer for over 4 excruciating(oh yes, I mean PAINFUL) years. Every one of them I wanted to switch but it just seemed easier to stay.I really needed to keep my number for business reasons...They seem to always make billing "mistakes" (in their favor, and I have NEVER paid a bill of less than $150.00 and it has been as high as $210.00. It was even higher when I took a cruise to Bermuda and when I got home the bill was nearly $500.00!!! They told me that apparently I was "roaming" but they never displayed that on the phone...(the plan my boyfriend and I share is 1400 anytime mins, and is supposed to be about $120). Today wed, 9/24/09I just paid $167.00and this fri,9/26/09 I will pay them the absurd balance of $182.00, then I am porting our numbers to Verizon and I will finally be rid of them! (p.s did I mention that I get a corporate discount because of where I work?!) Ha ha...As for their customer service ,at ATT it is an oxymoron, and it has become a part time job for both myself and my boyfriend trying to call between our "real" jobs to try and resolve the numerous billing issues we have had. Usually we are unsuccessful and end up more frustrated than if we didn't even try at all. All said, Att makes it super easy for one to shop online choosing both phones and plans (but beware if you make a mistake on your order or get confused and choose the wrong thing, it may NEVER get resolved.) Their shipping time is about average from my experience, and I personally only had a problem with one phone out of the four I have owned from them, as far as dropping calls and actual service goes. However, when you get right down to it if the customer service is lacking and no one can help you then all the good things don't amount to anything more than Att being willing to lure you into their network and then just leaving you high and dry.

What product did you purchase or try to purchase? Two cell phones and a family share plan.
