Horrible experience with Allegro Medical

I think Allegro Medical is either highly inefficient or unscrupulous. I had ordered a rolling hand cart for my grandmother for her farmer's market shopping. As soon as I placed the order, I realized that they didn't have the size they claimed to have and by default I had ordered the smaller size. Well, I didn't want the smaller size, so I called them within 5 minutes of placing the order to cancel. Their lines are only open from 8am to 4pm Pacific time with no answering service, so I couldn't leave a message. I emailed them instead, explaining the situation and asked them to cancel the order. 4 days went by, no response. So I called them during my lunch break the following day hoping to catch them during their operating hours. I was on hold for my entire lunch hour, nobody came on the line. I finally had to disconnect and go back to work. That evening I emailed again. I tried calling for the next few days and kept emailing. Same thing, no responses to my emails, no answers to my calls. Finally, after several days of trying, I got through on the phone. The woman who answered was ill mannered and just not pleasing to talk to. Anyway, I explained the situation and asked her to cancel the order (it still hadn't shipped) and to refund the money. She said she did it and I'll see it reflected on my credit card statement in a few days. Well after an entire week, still no money was refunded. I called my credit card company, and they couldn't give me any information besides that I was charged for the item. They advised to try connecting with the vendor again. Well, now the process has started again. I've sent out several more emails and nobody picks up the phone when I call. If this thing doesn't get resolved in my favor within the next week, I'm going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I encourage everybody else who has been wronged by this company or any other company to do the same. I wouldn't recommend Allegro Medical to anyone. Horrible customer service. I didn't get the product but lost my money.
