Join the Fourth Annual Resurrecting the Oldies Book Write Off

The Bottom Line If you love books, or even if you don't I hope you will join my write off.
It's Time for the 4th ANNUAL RESURRECTING THE OLDIES BOOK WRITE OFF. Yes it was 4 years ago that I started the Resurrecting the Oldies Book Write Off. The write off has been a lot of fun over the years and has produced several fantastic reviews about books that may have been forgotten about.
The purpose of my write off is to resurrect some books that may have been long forgotten about. The only rule for my write off is that you must write about a book that was written before 2003, and preferably write about a book that no one else has yet written about, or has only been written about by one or two other people. If a book has more than a few reviews but most of them are rated below helpful that book would be eligible as well. Virtually any type of book is eligible. It can be fiction, non fiction, a cook book, a children's book, any type of book you can come up with as long as it was published over 3 years ago.
I know that considering a book that is only 3 years old to be an oldie may seem strange, but lets face it once a book leaves that top seller list, it is forgotten about. So though they may not be technically old books, they may certainly be forgotten books. The purpose of my write off is to prove that being a few years old or several years old does not stop a book from being a good read.
Everyone is invited to join in. Please send me an email saying you would like to join in. The participants that are joining in are listed on my profile page as well as at the end of my first posted write off entry review.
Also this is of course not a rule, but rather a kind suggestion that we all make sure that we read and rate the entries of the other participants. We are of course all in this together, and it is a great way to learn about some great older books. I Try to update the list at least once a day with the new entries so stop by now and again to see what's new.
The Write Off will begin Sunday, October 8, 2006 and will conclude on my Epinions Anniversary on December 19th (feel free to take till the end of the year though). Please make sure to reference the write off on your review and refer to my profile page for information and for a list of the participants.
All of the reviews from the previous years Resurrecting the Oldies Write Offs are posted on my profile page, so feel free to go back and read some of the old entries.
