not procrastinating, just four months late by default (Reply to this comment)
by voxpoptart
David! Welcome back to Epinions, in a defining-"back"-incredibly-loosely way. This was a seriously terrific set of advice here; when you can be wise and wise-asss repeatedly, without even having to alternate them, you're doing a great job. Some quibbles and caveats:
4. If your to-do lists always fail because you never get around to "1. Read to-do list", accept that you have Attention Deficit Disorder and just shack up with someone competent instead.
6. I'm pretty sure romantic love _always_ ends up sucking: remember, "Til death do us part" is what the optimists promise. But as the Jehovah's Witnesses almost say, billions of people now living have never died, and some of them are paired off, so sure, it's worth a shot.
7. "That was the night we thought John Berryman could fly, but he didn't, so he died" (attr: the Hold Steady)
19. Of course, if you're poor, you can vote however the hell, since you can be fairly sure your ballot won't be counted.
23. Lots of straight boys have never flirted homosexually in their life. Which doesn't mean we're not weird, mind.
27. Maybe ... but I cook with butter and olive oil I wouldn't drink, and no one's made an issue of that.
36. I bet the England photos are still neat.
cheers,
- Brian

Unfortunately, growing up is inevitable. But, in good news, I believe that you will be excellent at it.

lessons here - "Your parents are not perfect, and that's okay." I just realized that's ok a few years ago - and I am 25 now, so I am kinda on target so far.
...but I don't wanna grow up!

...in a catfight over this loaded list or else we'll behave ourselves and share it!
Oh yes! It's one in the morning, and I'm definitely messed-up! LOL
Cheers!

I had so many favorites in this list - I read it at work and laughed and laughed and laughed. Eventually, I had to go to the bathroom.
Life Lesson #41 - Never read stuff from David without first emptying your bladder ;).
This is my most favorite: There's nothing wrong with taking credit for your own brilliance. If you're great, everyone should know it.
Much love, hugs, and gropes...Kristina

Ah, OK, that makes sense. I think of it as more of a bell-curve. If it's really small, it's bad, but average versus slightly larger than average doesn't really make that much of a difference.

Holy crap, even I still remember this. That's going to be my new mantra.

Lemme 'splain. The size of your partner's penis does have an effect on sexual intercourse. I mean, duh. Anyone that says it doesn't is being ridiculous. However, the size of your partner's penis isn't really important in the greater context of your relationship as a whole.

Size doesn't matter. Well, okay, it matters, but it doesn't matter.
I'm confused...

Number 18 brings back so many memories. I loved that game! My husband can be a goof and loves to make me laugh so he's devised an odd way of using my body parts to similate the controller and those key strokes... um, that may be way too much information for you. :)
