Have you heard about Roots? Do you have some products from them? Yes, I have, and I do have products from Roots.(I got them from store though.) Now, I am going to explain one of my favorite shops for someone who does not know about it, and someone who would like to see a different brand. Roots was established in 1973, and the number "1973" is on the some products. The beaver is also their mark. They sell casual closes such as shirts, pants for activities, and bag, watches, hats, parka, and so on, you can wear them in normal life. When I entered the store the first time, I thought it was expensive for me to buy. However, their materials, and seams are very good and stronger than others. BELT I have a belt from Roots shop. I bought it in Canada several years ago. It is brown, real leather, and it design suggests an antique. The metal fitting for this belt is dark brown mixed with copper. The brand name "Roots" is on it. It is for men, so even though it has seven or eight holes for the fitting, I needed more hole for myself. It was easy to make holes for me too with a punch. Even though it is for men, I really liked it!! I think it was around C$40 at that time. I have seven belts now, but this belt is the one I like to wear the most. BACKPACK I have a big, black backpack. I bought it two years ago, and I remember it was not very expensive. (I do not remember exact the price, but I remember I thought it was cheaper than the others.) This backpack is very simple. Its color is black with silvers up middle of the front side, the logo is on it. The logo is also on the band with the Canadian flag. I like to go on trips with this backpack because it can carry many things. The last time I used it was for a 3 night 4 day trip. I brought 2 pairs of pants, 4 shirts, 3 pairs of under wear, pajamas, a bath towel, a small towel, things for a bath, and cosmetics. Oh, I also put one pair of sandals and 2 books. Can you believe that it carried all of it. Many of my friends told me I always bring a lot more than other people, but this backpack helps me to carry everything that I want to bring. Beside a big, main pocket, it has five more small pockets. Linear pockets are on the side of the main pocket, and they are on the both right and left sides. The small pocket on the front, bottom is useful for putting something like a wallet that you need to take out often. One more small pocket on top of another small pocket is designed for a CD player. It has a small hole that you can thread your headphones through, so you do not need to hold them. Even if you do not have the CD player, like me, you can put some pens and pencils in it because it is easy to take them out. I still have some more things from Roots, and these are all things that I like to keep. If you have chance to go Canada, it might be a good place to find a souvenir for your family and friends.
