The Bottom Line After you try to go there, tell me your opinion about them.
A big building with a big parking lot, people come with their family or even alone to get some stuff that they need. Wal-Mart shopping center is very good place to go for everyday shopping such as food, household goods, clothes, and jewelry. The town I am living in right now is very small, but we have a Wal-Mart. It really helps us because we can buy many things in the same shop.
Food
They sell many kinds of food. Fresh vegetables, frozen food, cereal, cans, etc... Occupy one third of the shopˇ¦s floor space in the nearest Wal-Mart from my house. They squirt water on the vegetables to keep fresh, change the seasonal vegetables every season. The massive frozen food section surprised me a lot because I have never seen that many pizzas, and microwave dinners. It was first time I have seen frozen bun dough. They sell several varieties of sea foods too which I really like. I would recommend that you try their brand, ˇ§Great Value.ˇ¨ They are almost exactly same taste as other products, but the price is less than others.
Household Goods
They also sell household goods that you need for everyday life: such as tissue, detergent, foods for animals, and so on, everything that I can imagine. For each product, they have many brands, so you can choose what you want from them. I like their display because it is easy to see. I am short, so sometimes its hard to reach them though.
Clothes
The place I usually go, has many clothes too, from baby clothes to underwear, and clothes for exercise. I feel that the clothes in this shopping center are usually no cute for me. Many people like to go shopping for their clothes in malls that have many brands shops in them. However, when I was their clothes last time, they had much cute stuff that people like to wear. I bought clothes for my PE class (for exercise), and my friend bought a cute shirt. I liked their series of T shirts with Disney characters. They were so cute, and a couple of my roommates have them, so I am planning to buy one too. Baby clothes are expensive in Japan, so sometimes I buy clothes, and send them to my friends and cousin. Their design is different from Japanese clothes, of course, so they like to have the clothes from the U.S. too.
Jewelry
Many designs, colors, and sizes of jewelry are sold by Wal-Mart. Jewelry areas a plot of space; exclusive clerks are there to help you. When my friendˇ¦s watch battery dead, they changed it for her, and she just needed to pay for the battery. Even though I do not buy it, I like to go there check out the key rings because I think their key rings are cute. An exclusive Clark pierced my ear for me. The disinfection, and explanation were good, and it did not hurt like I thought it would. If you want more piercing, you may go to Wal-Mart to get them.
Two years ago, I joined a volunteer group called ˇ§shop with a cop.ˇ¨ This event was supported by Wal-Mart, and when I went shopping with the children for this event, many clerks were here to help us to find things that the children wanted, and all of them smiled during that time. It was my first time to join the big volunteer event, and I did not know that many people supported the event, so I was surprised, and happy to join it.
I know there are many supermarkets around us. But, I recommend you to go to Wal-Mart because of their stuff that they sell in the store.
