Horrible, very slow shipping, constant lies

On September 22, 2009 I placed an order for two pairs of black chemical gloves for a costume. I chose the free shipping option which stated "may take up to 10-12 days to process and ship".
In legality terms, that would mean it shouldn't take more than 12 days. Right now I'm on day 22 and each time I log into my account my order is still listed as "processing".
On the 11th day, I started a live chat via their webpage and was told it "may take up to 10-12 days to process and ship". I figured that on the 12th or 13th day I should have a ship notice. Wrong.
On the 16th day, I emailed their support email and received a reply "They will be shipping my monday. The items were on back order. I am sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience." It would have been nice to receive an email at some point informing me of this instead of me having to go investigate where my order was.
On the 21st day, that Monday....I contacted live chat again to confirm that my order was in fact shipping that day.
Jon: Hello, I would just like to confirm that my order will be shipping today.
Jane: yes it is
Jon: Thank you!
On the 23rd day I contacted the site via email again and informed them that I had been told my order would ship Monday and it hadn't. I explained to them that I was unhappy and frustrated that my order hadn't shipped despite their employees' constant claims that it would.
On the 24th day I recieved this response in my email inbox:
"Your order is in currently in the process of being shipped. You will be notified via e-mail once your order has been shipped out and a tracking# will be issued."
So now we're back to a generic response of "your order will be shipped when we say it's shipped."
Friday, day 25...waiting....
