I ordered a walking cane for my mother in Jun09. At the time of ordering, the website stated "in stock." I called to confirm the item was in stock and was told it was. I placed the order and was told it would ship w/in two days. A week and a half later, nothing. I called and was told there was a delay and it was going to be shipped in a couple of days and should arrive in about five days. Well, a week later still nothing... I was told the item had been on backorder, which I brought to their attention that nobody had ever mentioned this when I called twice before. I then canceled the order.
I was told they had to check with the shipping dept. before issuing the credit. The item was still on backorder! Why do you need to check with the shipping dept??? Keep in mind this was Jun09, it has taken nearly FOUR MONTHS for the credit for my order, which NEVER shipped, to appear. It took too many phone calls and excuse after excuse to finall bring this nightmare of a transaction to a conclusion.
Terribly, terribly disappointing service and business practices! I will NEVER even consider conducting business with this company again, nor would I recommend anybody else.
