I love this!!!!! YourMusic.com is a fantastic service to purchase "your music" on CD. YourMusic offer CD's for a mere $7.41 ($6.99 plus tax) delivered to your mail box once a month. You simply join (provide them with a debit or credit card number) fill out your "que" and thats it. You are billed each month on your anniversary date - (the day you joined) and your CD arrives in mail. My anniversary is the 17th and my CD comes around the 20th of each month. You can't even get CD's for that price at Wal Mart!!
I could not be more pleased with service however there are some things you need to know. You will be billed $7.41 each month period, therefore you need to make sure you have a CD in your "que" (basically a shopping list) each month, if you don't you will still be billed but recieve nothing. Second this service is best for those who are building their CD collection not for those who are looking for unique or harder to get items.
For instance I am an 80's "hair metal" freak- Bon Jovi, Poison, Skid row, Cinderella etc.. I also love Nickelback, Hinder, Saving Abel and some country like Toby Keith or Trace Atkins. All my bands and artists are offered, however they don't carry all of the CD's some of my artists have ever released. Since I up intil now owned no CD's (I still have cassettes- told you I'm 80's) I don't mind since I am just building my collection but here will come a point I am afraid YourMusic wont have what I want (but as of now I have almost 3 years of music in my que). Also they don't even offer some genres of music like heavy metal - you won't find any Metallica or Iron Madien on YourMusic. Its mostly more "mainstream" rock, country and pop music.
Membership is free and you cancel at anytime, no minimums- the website is easy to navigate, user freindy, easy to understand an no gimmicks (as long as you have a CD in your que) You can view your account and change your que anytime after you sign up using your email adress as your account name and create a password like every other account you have on the internet. Plus if you get a freind to join you get a free CD of your choice. Also you can buy CD's any time for the same price of $7.41, you don't have to wait for your monthly shipment.
