Ah well, it isn't the first time I've been told I'm odd!! :-D I looked at the IGN list and have played about 15 of them (or at least a version of the game if not the absolute original), and one I own but it's never worked! A few are in my list as well, but I need to finish the descriptions for them all and properly format it before I post the list.
I guess it just depends on your gaming preferences and what systems you've owned - and, of course, what games you actually played! I think my list is more representative of my best gaming memories than anything, a lot of the games would probably really annoy me nowadays but at the time I loved them, and I've been trying to have a relateively even spread of games across the last 3 decades.
I'll look out for your list, from the sound of it I may not have played many of the ones that you'll include!

Hehe, didn't we all when a bad crash had sent us from first to last?!?!? Going backwards down Monza resulted in some really spectacular crasehs!!! Monaco was a lot more challenging, damaging the oppotisition was easy but taking them out of the race completely was a lot toughter.
