I thought that Bizchair did a great job of offering cheap chairs in good time. I have read reviews of people not receiving furniture from them in time, but it seemed that they did not realize that Bizchair is a wholesaler. If you need stuff in a cruch, don't expect to get bottom dollar prices.
I made sure to call Bizchair to place my order so that I could address all the problems that people reported having. I got prompt help from
Zach McLeod Customer Service Bizchair.com 4350 Ball Ground Hwy Canton, GA 30114 1-800-924-2472 ext. 8285 770-721-8371-Fax mailto:zacharymcleod@belnickinc.com He even gave me his complete contact informations, as you can see.
One question I made sure to ask is why people are complaining of prices being changed after they ordered. He told me that the companies that they rep for are the ones that do that. They may advertize an incorrect price on Bizchair and then when the manufacturer goes to ship the item, they have to charge you the correct price.
This is still a little bit dishonest business practice by Bizchair, but at least they are not marking up the prices themselves after you make an order. They are simply not updating their prices to match the manufacturer.
HOWEVER, Zach let me know that the chairs we ordered were coming from their warehouse and not another manufacturer. He assured me that there was no way we would be charged any extra after the order went through. From what I can tell there were no extra charges at all.
The chairs themselves (http://www.bizchair.com/rut-188-gy-gg.html)were in 9 out of 10 shape. They were brand new, and most of the materials on the chairs were covered in protective wrapping. The only places that got marked up were the bottom rubber that makes contact with the floor. That is the only reason I give the chairs a 9 out of 10. After all, you expect something that is brand new to not have any blemishes.
The chairs are a good height and seems sturdy enough. We used them for a get together last weekend, and none of them had anything broken. They did have some rusted dust coming out of the pre-drilled holes in the legs. I don't think it is a big deal at all, though. It seems that it's just dust from the manufacturing process. The finish on the legs is a nice matte black.
We also got the dolly that is recommended for these chairs. They fit nicely onto it and stay snug. I haven't stacked more than 6 on it, but it seems like it will move them around easily enough. The casters on it aren't very heavy duty, but it is a bargain. For all 24 chairs and the dolly, we paid less than half of what Target.com charges after their 15 percent discount. I think it was $700 as opposed to Target's $1,500.
We received chairs in way less time than I was expecting. I think this is also due to the fact that Bizchair had these in their own warehouse. I ordered them on Oct. 8th, they were shipped on the 12th and we had them on Oct. 14th. They arrived on an 18 wheeler through the freight service TBB/ Wilson Trucking. I'm not sure if they use them exclusively or they are just the closest to where I live in TN.
I hope this helps to disspell some fears that people have about ordering from Bizchair. I felt they did a great job.
