It was a funny movie. I like the dark comedies better than the sappy films, in case you couldn't tell :)

I enjoyed reading your list of the best Christmas movies. I think one of my favorites is Home Alone. It is so funny.

That was a funny movie, I'll agree. I like Scrooged a lot, though. Bill Murray is wonderful - has that Carlin flavor going in the character. I am sure I will appreciate it all the more this year.

I like 90% of your list...but I'd drop SCROOGED altogether and put A CHRISTMAS STORY at the top, followed by CHRISTMAS VACATION, CHARLIE BROWN and the original GRINCH cartoon.

Elf!! Did you know that the DVD version has exceptional games that kids can play for hours?? My kids love it, they'll even play it over their XBOX360.
Anyway, nice write up!!

I watch Scrooged every year - I'm kind of surprised you don't have A Christmas Story on here. Can't handle TNT's 24 hour showing of it? =P

I'd have to put the 1984 version of A Christmas Carol atop my list, but you have a number of great films here.
Happy holidays!
