I'm a purist. If it's filmed in black and white, watch it in black and white.

I gotta disagree Lyn. The animated Grinch is a classic, I'll give you that, but the live action was better simply because some one figured out how to do it in live action and do it well (and rubberface was awesome). That's like saying the animated version of LOTR was better than Peter Jackson's.
BTW, I love White Christmas, but I had to stop at 10 and it's not a movie I watch every year.
I expected more "buts" than this...
Thanks for the props.
Mike.

Yeah, you should've known there'd be a but in there.

The animated Grinch is much better than the real people movie. Much. And you didn't include White Christmas? Sheesh! Now that's my favorite Christmas movie. Singing and dancing and more singing. There ya go.

Other than that...

excellent choices.

I had this rant pinned up on the wall over my desk for a year with the name of the most obnoxious Software VP of Sales I'd ever spoken with etched underneath.

Hehe, I used to quote that part of his entire rant a lot when I was a kid. Good stuff, that movie (love how you've quoted that rant, and have it all sandwiched in between two animated movies, too :p).

Nice list, certainly some classics here.
