I was very happy with my overall experience with SquareTrade. I called customer service a couple of times and was very pleased with the courteous, friendly and professional responses I received; I only waited on hold very briefly once and did not wait on hold at all the second time I called. Email responses were sent in a timely and definitive manner; i.e. concise and to the point without up-selling and marketing.
The price was definitely cheaper than warranties I've purchased before and when I needed to redeem my warranty, I was paid/refunded my entire purchase price without any hassle or hesitation. My refund was sent out to me in a timely manner.
Another thing that stood out to me was the fact that my item was a refurbished one. I'm not aware of any other company selling warranties on refurbished items. In fact, if they had not covered refurbished items, I would not have bothered to buy a warranty, as I rarely do on new items.
I and others I know, have had bad experiences buying refurbished electronics. But now, thanks to SquareTrade, you can have the best of both worlds: Buy items cheaper and yet still have the benefit of a warrantee!
I highly recommend SquareTrade for all your warranty needs!
P.S. It was SO nice for a change to deal with a company that actually lived up to its promises and guarantees. They were very professional as well; a rarity these days!
