The Bottom Line It's the most musical time of the year.

I'm really just a kid in grown up clothes. Which is why I love Christmas so much. Everything about it just makes me smile. I love buying and wrapping presents. I have a long list of holiday specials and movies I must watch every year. My Christmas tree is packed with ornaments. I drive around looking at Christmas lights. And I love Christmas music. In fact, I have so much Christmas music I have an almost impossible time listening to it all every year, and I listen to nothing else starting the day after Thanksgiving.

I'm sure by now you're thinking "That's great, Mark, but what does that have to do with me?" Well, I'd like to know what Christmas music you love. What is the first CD you pull out every year? What music to you play Christmas morning or while decorating the tree?

So here's how this write-off will work.

I'm looking for new reviews of Christmas CD's. But, instead of just any Christmas CD, I would like ones that have a favorite Christmas song on it. Maybe it's an original or rare Christmas song you love. Or maybe it's a fresh arrangement of one of the old standbys. And it could be a song that brings up a special memory. And the age of the song doesn't matter. There are some songs on CDs from just a couple years ago that I love just as much as a song I grew up listening to.

I don't care what you rate the CD as long as there is one song you love on it. Believe me, I have a few Christmas CD's that only have one song I like on it, but it is worth it to hear that one song.

The official dates of the write-off are November 24 through December 25. But I won't quibble over a few days.

Leave me a comment in this thread with a link to your review, and I'll be sure to link it here. Please include a link back to this essay at the bottom of your review as well.

Have fun and above all, Merry Christmas
