Thanks everyone for commenting. I can't wait to see what you come up with. And keep in mind you can have multiple favorites. I know I do.
Suzi, I'll bet most of the records have been released at some point on CD. I know I have copies of lots of the records I grew up listening to on CD and I wouldn't trade them for anything at Christmas time.
Jamilynn, this is the first Write-Off I've hosted so you're in good company.
Matt, as long as there is some song you love on the CD, I'll count it.
Hope everyone else figures out where their favorite Christmas songs originated.
