This product has completely reduced the stress and grossness and mess I used to have every month with tampons, and pads! I just can't believe this product has not reached more mass-market popularity.
There is a learning curve( for me, it took two menstrual cycles to be fully comfortable) but it is *so* worth it!
It's neat and compact, totally hidden inside me! No gross string to peek out of a swimsuit and embarrass me ...no icky messy, smelly pads. For sports, it is an absolute boon...just life changing. In general it lasts longer than tampons, and I've never had a leak due to forgetting to change--and I get absorbed in my life and forget *a lot*!
The most dramatic part of it is that on low-flow days (for me, day 3, 4 and 5), I just wear it all day and forget about it. I tend to change tampons often anyway even on light days--they get gross when you pee near them. So using the cup is like shortening my period by three days. Instead of five days of hassle and annoyance, it's just two!
A caution would be that on heavy days removing it can make a mess...hard to do without dripping blood on floor. I usually look for one-seat bathrooms where I have some privacy. I tend to seek out a private bathroom anyway during my period, but this makes it more important. Another caution is that if I sneeze hard, it leaks. 

I am lucky in that the cup fits me perfectly. This may not be true for everyone. If the fit isn't right, it's just not for you even if you like everything else.
