Sprint PCS is a horrible company with outrageously poor customer service. Although I have a litany of issues, I will only write about two of them that exemplify Sprint's behavior.
First, after owning a Sprint cell phone for about six months it stopped working. Because I signed up for service with a Sprint vendor who came to my company for a day, I could not take my phone back to a Sprint store. I was mailed a new phone and mailed my old phone back. Despite proof from UPS that the old phone had been delivered to Sprint, it took over four months to receive credit and countless phone calls. In addition, the replacement phone was not configured, and I had to call Sprint so someone could tell me how to "program" it.
After my 2 year contract expired, I cancelled my service on principle; I cannot support such a lousy company. Based on the date I cancelled, I was owed a balance (and my billing statement also indicates this). Six months later, I still cannot get the money. Customer (dis)service enjoys transferring me around to people who can't help me and claiming "all" customer service computers are down (3 times in 3 months).
I hope anyone who reads this will avoid Sprint PCS, although to be honest, they are only the worst among all the other nation wide wireless service providers.
Try an Internet search for "Sprint PCS Sucks" or look at http://www.ecomplaints.com. Sprint has more complaints then any other company.
