Square Trade Inc. is a service that offers extended warranty plans to the buying public of various products purchased at many stores or while on line shopping. The fees that Square Trade charges for this extra protection are so minimal compared to those offered by other available sources. In the past when I would purchase electronic entertainment products, the cost to buy an extended warranty was too cost prohibitive. I bought a refurbished I-Pod for $100.00 on E-Bay, and since Squaretrade offered their warranty I decided to give them a try. Since there was no warranty on the item available from the source, I paid a minimal amount via Square Trades offer and 3 months later the I-Pod charging system failed. I contacted Square Trade and they sent me a pre-paid shipping label to return my item to them and refunded my full purchase price. This was done in such a timely fashion that it surprised me to say the least. Then, last month, my Polaroid portable DVD player started to have some serious issues. Once again I went through the identical process stated above with my Square Trade warranty and within the same amount of time they refunded my full purchase price. This whole experience made me feel a little guilty ( like I was abusing their program) but they came through without any setbacks. I just bought a new replacement for the DVD and it will also get Square Trades extended warranty along with any other items I purchase in the future. The customer service, communication and promptness of action they give the buyer is outstanding. Never in my life have I experienced dealing with such an honest and reputable service as Square Trade Inc. Give them a try, you won't be dissapointed! - David Dial
