Gee,I thought it was Saddam that had an outrageous history of greed that caused all the problems in Iraq.I believe it is now the greed of the insurgents that now has caused thousands of Americans to die while they try to bring a better life to the PEOPLE.

But I don't expect ignorance to understand that.

Not to sure what all of this has to do with getting bit in the nuts, legs and buttucks by a baby pit-bull. It does not have anything to do with Iraq or Iran. What this entry does do is tell the truth about living in a neighborhood that would eat you alive.

I hope you noticed that I am looking forward to giveing ALL another chance in 2007! Even the same people that took my money and my pride, because yes, you're right, no one race is bad. Perhaps you will read that I call it as it is and I come down the hardest on the white trash than any one people. Just read my past reviews.

Howard K Stern ? Not sure why you would compare the two, stretching I guess.

If you feel that your greed has caused you bad luck, that's your problem. But I'm a fu cking saint.

I had a bad 'un in 2006 myself.

The origin of most of our troubles is usually buried in our attitudes -- in both our cases, formed no doubt over decades.

In most part, it does come down to greed in some form, if only in the coinage of our own superiority.

For instance, the reference to the Asian is racist, not because you would do any harm to this group of people, but because you make assumptions about one that others might apply to all of the race. Follow that far enough, and you will find why you have been made a target.

[And yes, racism exists in all groups, and it is at its most insidious when not recognized.]

Let us resolve to ban greed (and over-weening pride) from our daily lives in 2007. That is difficult to do at our age, but we can try.

Hey, we might even learn from the attempt why we are in Iraq, why we are going to invade Iran unless somebody stops us, and that all the war profiteering of the new "permanent warfare state," while greatly benefiting a few (600 billion dollars borrowed from the Chinese, etc), comes out of your pocket and mine -- and even that miserable crackhead can't be given the blame.

Maybe, it would be easier to go to Las Vegas with your Howard K. Stern son-in-law!

But we have probably both done that, too, or its equivalent.

All the internal evidence is there.

Lang May Ye Reek!

...I thoroughly enjoyed reading about your experiences last year...so much so that I almost added you to my Web of Trust. However, at your age, I don't think you will ever want to read any of my reviews.

My reviews are usually about music groups that probably don't fit into your tastes. I don't review Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, or Barbra Streisand, even though they are truly great artists.

I probably will continue reading any future reviews of yours - I like your style. I hope you continue to write more reviews in the near future - they are cool!!

I should put you on alert or something but it is fun suddenly bumping into you for some reason or other.

I do hope you keep your head out of the way of swingin' things this year. Can't have you losing your chucky cheese coins!

It really is good to see you around. A refreshing foul odor you are. I've always appreciated your manner. I do wish you a happy and healthy new year. Do well, prosper and write more often...and yes, I am putting you on my alerts. I believe I only have two or three people there. You are worth more than gold to read.

Best,

Phil

Hey Vasilis, you said,
"And, I can't really tell if you're serious about your son-in-law..."
Oh yes indeed,, he is quite serious. You will have to go back and read their history together.

Great Politically Incorrect Review of 2006 (Reply to this comment)
by the_gas_man
Hi Chuck,

I always get a "chuckle" from your unique if politically incorrect perspectives. I suppose it goes to show, if we can't laugh at our misfortunes, they will kill us.

Looking forward to your next submission.

Best wishes for 2007,
Gasman

I went on your page and noticed that you were bike riding with an oriental gal, is that your mail order wife? Please don't be offended - I'm just wondering.

That is indeed my wife, though funnily enough, she ordered me off the Internet, and I hadn't even realized I was for sale...

Thanks for leaving me a comment - I was just looking through your reviews - I see that you are a pro at shopping online. Could you point me towards some free or great deals online? I read your overstock review - what I am looking for now is shocking deals due to the fact that I have no money... tks

An entertaining read, even if it meant learning of an annus horribilis-- a rotten year. My only squirm was your allusion to the "hot dog eating chinc (sic)"-- which was doubly offensive, a) from the epithet (I'll get over it) and b) the mish-mash of Chinese and Japanese, since it was a Japanese kid who dominates all those food contests. You can be forgiven, since you're a delightfully crusty ol' feller who means well to all except his lousy son-in-law. I hope next time he winds up dead, for your family's sake....

A happier '07 to you, and welcome back!

to staying away from gambling.. If only I had 0.5% of the money that I spent between 2004 and 2006 back from gaming. Here's to 2007, a better year, at least financially.
