When I saw this title recently, I suspected the story was the basis for Benchly's Jaws!
I grew up only an hour or so from the Jersey shore, in suburban Philadelphia. We spent every summer day frolicking in the chill waters off Long Beach Island. It never occurred to us, dumb kids and adults alike, that we could become dinner in short order.
I know better now!
