The Bottom Line Calphalon makes pots and pans, their big product catalog is listed online.

Calphalon makes pots and pans, pretty expensive ones at that. The cookware is designed not only for heavy kitchen use, but also for some yuppies who want to showcase their trophy cookware ("I can afford this, you can't nyah, nyah, nayh".)
At first glance, the Calphalon online website has a few links, but not much else. One has to go look for information, if they can find it. The one feature that would interest users the most is their comprehensive product guide. Where else can you find all you need to know about Calphalon than their own catalog? When you click on the catalog, you also get warrantee information, and how to care for your cookware. Their "Culinary Center" link leads you to a page of recipes, which may or may not be useful.
If you want to buy Calphalon, there is a big "Shop Online Now" link displayed prominently on the homepage. However, that is somewhat misleading; Calphalon do not actually sell their cookware online, when you click on the link, it lists online retail outlets that do carry their products. Links to jobs, contact information, and commonly asked questions (like kitchen safety, or how to use cookware), are buried under the "Contact Calphalon" link.
Calphalon online is useful only to those who want to browse the full Calphalon product line, to get warrantee info, cookware care info, or to try one of their recipes posted on the site.
if you happen to mistype calphalon.com, and you type calaphon.com instead, beware, it is a popup-spam trap that's pretty hard to click out of.
