Pros:Powerful, fast, light weight, plenty of memory/disk space, and stylish!
Cons:Battery life seems short, but this is my first laptop experience.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommend it!
I had read so much negative about Compaq's poor customer support and computer quality that I almost didn't buy the unit. I went back to the store many times and did my own hands on evaluation. Finally I bit, albeit with a pricey Circuit City four year warranty, just in case. Later read the review on what a poor deal the store warranties are, oh well...
I am happy, no, extatic about my new laptop. I ordered configured with Win2K, 30Gb hard drive, and Pentium 1Mhz Processor. It flies,it soars, and is a pleasure to work with. I hardly touch my desktops anymore.
Office went wireless, and I added a WAP to my home network. I totally love the freedom to roam. Travel is great since all those reams of paper can stay home and all I carry is the laptop.
I highly recommend it.
Am thinking about a spare battery, since the life seems a little short for long meetings.
