I love to dress my son in Hanna Andersson clothing - it is one of the few place I can find really cute clothing for toddler boys (we're not into cartoon characters, etc.) I wish they were less expensive, but I take heart in knowing that we are able to pass each item down, in perfect condition to two younger cousins.
Hanna Andersson clothes wash well, keep their bright colors, don't rip at the seams, etc. That, and the all-natural fiber is worth a little more money, especially when dressing kids for holidays and special times. I like the simplicity of the designs - bright colors, stripes, and GREAT sweaters, cute pajama fabrics, etc. I always get compliments from friends and strangers when my son is dressed in Hanna Andersson and people always ask where I got such great clothes. We have a German nurse at the Doctor's office who always is thrilled to see him in the wonderful sweaters - just like home!
We have purchased jumpsuits, several lovely sweaters, lots of pajamas, socks, mittens, hats, and an adorable winter coat that is now making the rounds of the cousins. I bought sweaters slightly oversized and rolled up sleeves last year, and they fit perfectly and look like new this year.
When you order, believe them about the sizes - by using actual height measurements, they are accurate. I really appreciate the sizing, because my son is tall for his age, and I ran into early problems buying him clothes by age. Being able to measure and really get the correct size is great. And the clothes truly do have room to grow.
I find the web store works easily, things are shipped promptly, etc. I used customer service once, and they were very helpful. And a note - when you get to the adult sizes, the prices aren't all that unreasonable, unless you compare them to Walmart!
