Can't ship instock items in a timely fashion and can't tell you when they'll ship!

I placed an order with Ritz over a week ago for items that will be given as Christmas gifts. I made sure all the items were listed as in stock. The items I wanted that were on back order I ordered from two different competitors.
The items ordered from Ritz still have not shipped while the related items ordered from their competitors are in route and are scheduled to arrive today and tomorrow.
I have since called Ritz customer services three times to find out when my items will ship. Each customer service rep told me they can't tell me when they will ship because "the items will be getting shipped directly from the warehouse". The last rep told me these warehouses are not Ritz's and are another company that stocks the items and sends them out. All they could say is that it will eventually ship.
So far this has been a terrible experience. The customer services reps are no help and I get the strong impression that Ritz customer service is nothing more than an outsourced phone bank in India. All three customer reps I talked to had very strong Indian accents and were somewhat difficult to communicate with.
If it wasn't for the fact that's its now 7 days from Christmas Eve, I would cancel the order and purchase elsewhere. I will NEVER do business with Ritz again.
