I love the Canon in D. Even if General Electric used it in a commercial! It's still a wonderful piece of music. Glad you love it too!
Yo Yo Ma playing at Tanglewood under the stars is one of my very favorite musical memories!

It's so neat to read the memories you have connected with these pieces of music. Several are favorites of mine too, especially "Canon in D," which my dad heard first and then introduced the rest of us to. It took me a couple times through to really get into it, but once I did, I was hooked for life! That concert under the stars with Yo Yo Ma sounds awesome, by the way...
