Your never alone! Remember, that there are others out there that may be going thru or have experienced the same circumstances.

a very courageous thing to share. I hope you are doing well at this point, and I agree. No one is alone.

How very brave of you, sharing with us your awful times....I am a firm believer in the thinking that what does not kill us only makes us stronger! And you really seem like a strong person! x

...was the ending. You've obviously overcome a number of negative experiences. You are right, we all are "victims" of circumstance at one point. Right now, I'm struggling with a daughter who is suffering from a mental problem that has placed her and her precious children in danger. I wish you continued happiness with your mate and I also hope that you manage to lose weight (another problem I have). Finally, thanks for sharing these experiences. As you point out, you may help someone with your honesty.

They are all over! If all else fails - go to Busch Garddens or Lowery Park Zoo or even Dinosaur World in Plant City, Florida (outside of Tampa)

I appreciate you taking the time to share this with us. There are so many people that do not realize that they are not alone. We get dealt different situations and sometimes they are dreadful, but we can make it. I do believe that our past makes us who we are today. It helps us appreciate and recognize the good things in life. I am sorry that you had to go through so much in your past. However, it sure sounds like life is good for you now. I hope things continue to improve and you are adopting a little one in the very near future!
I look forward to reading more from you too!
Hugs,
Chelle

Everyone has a story (Reply to this comment)

and that is what makes each person unique in their own way, that they are the person they are from their past experiences and how they used them to shape their life. I too have had many issues in my past that I had a hard time dealing with as a child, teenager and then when I became a parent. I think it made me stronger as a person, and also more empathetic towards others that are facing challenges.
I beive in making the best out of any situation and living life to the fullest and enjoying each day for the gift it is.
Im glad you are confident enough in yourself to share your past and to have moved on. I wish you all the best and hope you write about your adoption process as I will be looking into that as well and hope to learn from others experiences.

was a "victim" of myself.

I feel that everything you have gone through can't be all bad, because it has lead you to where you are today. Happily married and sharing yourself with us. Good luck with the adoption and look forward to reading all about it one day.

Hugs,
Julie
