The Bottom Line Their website is not accurate as to availability, and they didn't even inform me that my order was delayed.

On December 3rd, I ordered a Sony PlayStation 2 with Gran Turisimo game, a memory chip, and 2 additional games. Sam Goody's web site indicated that each of the items would "usually ship in 24 hours." The items were to be shipped, by priority mail, to an APO address, which they said they could do. Priority mail usually takes 7-8 days, so when the package had not been received on December 11th, I checked Sam Goody's web site and learned that the order was still "in process." I called customer service, and was told that the PlayStation 2 with the Gran Turisimo game was backordered, but that it had now come in and the order would ship in a day or two. I checked again on December 13th, and the order was still "in process." I spoke to a customer service supervisor who informed me that the PlayStation 2 was still backordered and she did not know when it would be received. She also said that my order had not been placed into their system until December 6th, even though the web site showed an order date of December 3rd. I don't know how they can "usually ship in 24 hours" if it takes 3 days to get the order into their system. Despite the lengthly delay, I was never notified that the PlayStation 2 with the Gran Turisimo game was not in stock until I called them. I canceled my order, and I will never do business with this company.
