I attempted to make a purchase from TIre Rack. $865+ tire and wheel package. What a mistake! You should RUN, not walk, away from any consideration of using them as the source for your tires or wheels. They are great at recommending a tire and wheel, charging you promptly, and sending it to your door. Any problems, especially damage during shipping (Gorilla treatment during shipping - your fault! Gorilla treatment at the receiving end - your fault!), everything is your fault at your expense. Get it - it's strictly your problem, no hint of taking responsibility by Tire Rack or UPS. You must prove that the problem is not caused by your fault. How do you do that? Once you use the shipping packaging sent to you by Tire Rack, use UPS spacial handling shipping with insurance, there's damage and it's all your fault! TR says it's UPS fault or that you did not pack right, UPS says that packaging not up to their specs, though there are none and you did exactly as TR required. TR and UPS make over $100 for shipping and handling a tire and wheel 2 directions, claim customer is a fault, and force you to pursue via the court system. They provide photos of damaged item that was clearly mishandled by UPS or TR, show it partially packaged (after gorilla handling, leaving much of he packaging out of the photos as if if were never there), and tell you to prove it was otherwise. That's correct - you cannot possibly prove that someone perhaps hundreds of miles away was the problem since you were not there with a video camera watching the items the entire way. Tire Rack and UPS (both mega bsuinesses, against you an individual) each point at the other and claim no responsibility for the problems, leaving you stuck having paid both for their services without refund. One bad experience at Tire Rack and UPS scam will cost you more than you could possibly have saved even if you made dozens of local purchases. $865 purcchase, packed and returned exactly as required, shippied UPS insured for an extra $130, net refund of $550. That's $310 scammed by TR plus another $130 to UPS to special-handle return, nothing to show for it. I am middle-aged professional, very careful and thorough. I got caught i the TR and UPS scam. Heed this advice: Avoid Tire Rack. Stick to local folks who actually stand behind their services and products. And use Fedex! Don't just read my review - read others' experience with Tire Rack. Consistently bad reviews in return and problem cases.
