Well...
I don't really generally like sports movies that much, in fact, so my list is probably "special", and very much tainted with nostalgia. I fully admit my weakness. ;)

I don't love "Field of Dreams." I'll take "Bull Durham" as a Kevin Costner entry 8 days a week. And "Hoop Dreams" over "Hoosiers," dozens of movies over Chevy Chase, starting with "Damn Yankees."
I'd find room for "When We Were Kings" and "Bang the Drum Slowly," so if I ever do a list, it will be quite different...
