I found Etronics to be trustworthy. If I could find what I wanted, and the price was competitive, I would buy from them again.

Now let me clarify that. They had excellent prices on what I was shopping for - a home theater receiver. I was looking at several different brands and models and found Etronics to have consistently lower prices than available from either the big stores (Best Buy, Sears, Circuit City, Tweeter, etc.) or from the manufacturers' sites. Also, checking prices on epinions, their prices were among the lowest listed. In fact, I found the receiver I really wanted for $170 less than I could find it locally.
Their website offered additional information on some of the products that helped me make my decision, and their ordering process was easy and quick.
Best of all, I ordered over the weekend, two weeks before Christmas, and was promised delivery the following Friday. I was skeptical; I work for a mail order catalog, and I know how hard it is to get orders out on time during the Christmas rush. My package arrived Thursday, a full day sooner than promised. Furthermore, Etronics notified me when my order shipped (Monday night) and sent me my UPS tracking number.
Now - my caveats: I also priced DVD players while I was on their site and found their prices to be competitive, but not lower than those available through my local stores, so I would check out the competition before buying. Also, Etronics advertises "real time order status reports." I have no doubt that they have this service, but during Christmas time, it was impossible to access that feature - too much site traffic. Finally, their shipping costs were high - at least twice what they should have been. But I was willing to pay a premium to get my package delivered so quickly.
I did 90% of my Christmas shopping online this year and etronics provided among the best service of all the companies I bought from. I'd rate them in the top 25% of the companies I have bought from.
