After reviewing Consumer Reports for product ratings, I purchased a DVD player from J&R Music and Computer World for my daughter as a Christmas present. Based on my on line price research, J&R Music and Computer World had the lowest price. But since I had never purchased anything from J&R Music and Computer World before and did not know of their business previously, I was hesitant to try a new company for an electronics purchase. However I decided to give it a try and found that not only was their web site easy to use, but the package was shipped within a couple of days and was received well before Christmas. Unfortunately, I found on Christmas Day that my son also bought a DVD player that she liked more. Following the step by step instructions for returns shown on the receipt, I called on a Saturday not expecting an answer but quickly spoke to a friendly and knowledgeable customer service representative who authorized the return. Overall the shopping experience was flawless, which makes me a return customer. The bottom line is that I was treated the way I want to be treated when making a retail purchase and the way I would treat my customers if it were my business. So I will shop again at J&R Music and Computer World and will recommend J&R to my friends.
